ABOUT PAULA
Paula is a comfortable, modern top that offers different options for the sleeves, hem and front. The fit is loose without being undefined. It hasdropped shoulders and ends at the upper hip. Paula has a slight boat neckline. The sleeve comes in a ¾ length or slightly wider wrist length. It can be sewn with a classic hem or with an elasticated hem. Paula can be sewn as a top or cardigan. Instructions for finishing the neckband with a neck band bind are included in the pattern instructions The seam allowance of 0.7 cm ( ¼”) for sewing with the overlock or a wide zigzag stitch on the sewing machine, as well as all hem allowances, are included in all pattern pieces.

FABRIC CHOICE
Paula is designed for stretchy fabrics like cotton or viscose jersey, ponte knit or lightweight linen knits. You fabric should at least have a stretch of 30%. For less stretchy fabrics I’d recommend sizing up one size. Fabrics should always be pre-washed to avoid shrinkage later. 
If you like to work with ribbing for the neckband, you should pay attention to good quality and shape retention.
For view B and C a 3 cm wide elastic is required.
